FREZITE was created in 1978 in Portugal and ever since has been dedicated to the development and production of precision-tools in HSS, tungsten carbide, PCD and CBN.
Although its original core business was with the wood cutting tools, nowadays the metal cutting tools already represent a significant part of the business.

The rapid and above average growth of this business unit, supported by excellent quality tools and a wide range of standards and special solutions, led to the need of new production sites and consequently the spatial separation between the wood and metal business units. FMT - FREZITE METAL TOOLING was born. Today FMT employs more than 250 co-workers and it is, across Europe, a supplier of precision-tools of the highest standards as far as performance achievement and qualitative processing are concerned.
Close customer contact, co-operations with renowned enterprises on the supplier side as well as early reaction to developments and requirements of the market are amongst the ingredients of FMT's success.
